What trope do you wish authors would run far, far away from?
The friendly neighborhood vampire trope. It was fun at first, but I’ve read so many. I’m guilty of writing one – a long, long time ago.
The one book you’ll re-read over and over and over:
Stephen King’s The Stand. I also watch the movie over and over even though it’s a ten hour mini series.
Do you have a favorite place to read?
On my ebook reader whenever I find spare time.
At Barnes and Nobles when I can get there. We moved across town from it about a year and a half ago so I don’t get there very often anymore. Borders was my favorite place to read and write, and I still mourn their passing.
Tell us a little bit about why you started book blogging:
To pay it forward to the many authors and book bloggers who have helped me to promote my books. Also, I love books, especially romances, and I like to read books for review. Unfortunately, my schedule is so tight anymore between writing and promotion, I don’t have much time to review anymore.
What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
Besides my family and pets? Stories! I love stories, both written and on the big picture screen. I go to the movies at least twice a month, sometimes twice in one weekend. If I were rich, I’d buy my own movie theater and watch movies on the big screen all the time.
And finally a quick round of pick one:
Coffee or Tea: Neither. I hate both, but my poison is Diet Cola. I’m totally addicted!
Sweet or Salty: Salty (I love both, but if I have to pick one…)
Chocolate or Vanilla: Chocolate is high on my list, but Rainbow Sherbet is my absolute fav. Especially United Dairy Farmer’s Rainbow Sherbet.
Hot or Cold: That depends… When I’m sore, I want a heating pad every time regardless of what the doctor recommends. But when it comes to weather, cold. I really miss the winter and snow, especially at Christmastime. I’ve been in South Florida for 25 years.
Laptop or PC: Laptop
Paperback or Ebook: Ebook! I love to make the fonts larger so I can see them. And I love how many I can load into my ebook reader. I don’t have shelf space for paperbacks anymore. My hubby’s taken over most of the space in our room. Also, I can read erotic romance without anybody seeing the cover. 😉
