Blogger Interview: Chicks Looking for a Book Fix

BookBloggerInterviews

1. What trope do you wish authors would run far, far away from?

Damaged heroine meets damaged Alpha Billionaire and they heal each other with their mind-blowing sex.lol Yes I read these types of books but I would like a little more story instead of the sex sometimes.

2. The one book you’ll re-read over and over and over:
I have reread The Boy Who Sneaks in My Bedroom Window by Kirsty Moseley so many times. I fell in love with my first book boyfriend in this book. Liam *sigh*

3.  If you could rewrite one book to change one part of it, which book would you choose and what would you change?

Easy question. There is only one book that comes to mind when I think about rewriting a scene and that book is Taking Chances by Molly McAdams.  Chase and Harper would have gotten their HEA, I have a love/hate relationship with that book.

4. Do you have a favorite place to read?
My favorite place to read would be on my couch. I have one spot on the end that has a leg rest, so it’s really comfy.

5. Tell us a little bit about why you started book blogging:

The main reason I decided to start blogging was because I followed so many authors and other blogs and would see sales, new releases, giveaways and those sorts of things and I didn’t have anyone to share them with. I only had one friend that understood my obsession with reading so I thought why not give it a try and I have meet some pretty awesome people because of it. 🙂 Plus, it’s really great getting to read ARCs and feeling all excited when I finish reading one knowing that others are going to experience that book soon.
6. What’s the one thing you can’t live without
I couldn’t live without Facebook. How else would I find out what is going on in the book world? Plus I tend to use Messenger more than texting on my phone to keep in touch with friends.

7. And finally a quick round of pick one:

Coffee or Tea:

Coffee, with cream and sugar.

Sweet or Salty:
Definitely salty, I love chips and popcorn.
Chocolate or Vanilla:

Blogger Interview: The Romance Evangelist

BookBloggerInterviews

1. What trope do you wish authors would run far, far away from?

The young woman damaged by some horrible event in her recent past who is cured by the older alpha bad boy billionaire man and his magic lovemaking. In other words, most of what you see in New Adult. 😛

2. The one book you’ll re-read over and over and over:

“Valley of the Dolls” by Jacqueline Susann. It’s probably the best “trashy novel” ever written and one I can’t help but admire every time I read it.

3. If you could rewrite one book to change one part of it, which book would you choose and what would you change?

I still wish Rhett Butler hadn’t left Scarlett O’Hara at the end of “Gone With The Wind.” I know the ending makes it more memorable and classic and all, but I’m a romance reader and I always want my HEA!

4. Do you have a favorite place to read?

I have a big leather recliner in my living room where I do all my reading and writing. But I would love to have a private book nook somewhere in my house where I could blast my favorite music while I wallow in another fantastic romance.

5. Tell us a little bit about why you started book blogging:

I’ve been a voracious reader my whole life, and my need to acquire more new books frequently outstrips what I laughingly call my book budget. When I found out there was a way to read books before they were released and all I had to do was tell everybody what I thought about them, I was beyond excited. It’s the best non-paying job I’ve ever had.

6. What’s the one thing you can’t live without?

I asked my husband this question because I was having trouble picking one thing, and he nailed it: Twitter. I need Twitter to stay informed on what’s happening in Romancelandia and what new hot books are coming out soon. It’s fun to follow writers and fellow bloggers and share opinions about everything going on in the world, and I know it’s helped me become a better reader and blogger.

7. And finally a quick round of pick one:

Coffee or Tea: Tea. Earl Grey with milk and sugar.

Sweet or Salty: Salty. I love pretzels and potato chips and popcorn.

Chocolate or Vanilla: Chocolate, preferably dark.

Hot or Cold: Um, hot?

Laptop or PC: Laptop. I couldn’t manage getting anything written without my Chromebook.

Paperback or Ebook: EBook. But my house will always be filled with paperbacks.

Interview with Paranormal Bookshelf

Really wish they would stay away from the same story line just different characters or the books that are just written for screen plays/movies…eeekkk

2. The one book you’ll re-read over and over and over:

The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice or The Vampire Academy books

3.  If you could rewrite one book to change one part of it, which book would you choose and what would you change?

Might sound silly but Twilight so I could change the sparkling aspect. That cracks me up every time.

4. Do you have a favorite place to read?

Love to read in my book nook in my room. My hubby put a couch and big bookcase. It’s pretty awesome. I even have a window right next to it so I can look out when a book hits me the right way.

5. Tell us a little bit about why you started book blogging:

Started blogging because I wanted an opportunity to be a normal run of the mill blog. Like the moms who juggle reading, kids and housework. We post what we can and have fun doing it. We don’t know every book release day and all that BUT we make our stuff enjoyable to fans and authors where they can connect. Plus giving new author info to fans is an amazing feeling.

6. What’s the one thing you can’t live without?

Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla Cappuccino OMG!

7. And finally a quick round of pick one:

Coffee or Tea: Sweet Tea

Sweet or Salty: Both like popcorn and chocolate

Hot or Cold: Depends but weather wise, COLD

Paperback or Ebook: Paperback hands down. Love the smell and just the feeling of a book in your hand. Ebooks are great and all but just not the same.

Blogger Interview: Naughty Book Snitch

BookBloggerInterviews

1. What trope do you wish authors would run far, far away from?

I haven’t met a troupe I didn’t like yet. With that being said I do not like to read about foot eaters or sex with food. It grosses me out. It’s ok to read if its mild but it cannot be the focus of the scene or story.

2. The one book you’ll re-read over and over and over:

The Story Guy by Mary Ann Rivers. Its short but such a beautiful story about life and love that will pull at your heartstrings. I highly recommend it.

3.  If you could rewrite one book to change one part of it, which book would you choose and what would you change?

Oh, that’s a tough one. I don’t know that I would change one part in any books that I’ve read. I’ve read some books that I would probably change the entire story, but not just one part. So my final answer would be: I would keep them exactly the way they are because it’s part of the story thumb print.

4. Do you have a favorite place to read?

Anywhere I can find a comfortable spot. I usually end up in the office with my husband.

5. Tell us a little bit about why you started book blogging:

I started blogging because I wanted to know if books that I was interested in reading had sex in them. I like other books too, but I wanted it for the sex. I would try to read some reviews and hardly any would mention sexual content. I love smut so that’s how Naughty Book Snitch got started. 😉

6. What’s the one thing you can’t live without?

My ereader. I carry it with me everywhere 🙂

7. And finally a quick round of pick one:

Coffee or Tea: Coffee. Actually cream and sugar with a splash of coffee.

Sweet or Salty: Sweet

Chocolate or Vanilla: Vanilla

Hot or Cold: Neither. I prefer warm and cool. Or spring and fall.

Laptop or PC: PC

Paperback or Ebook: Ebook
