“So pick these up. They will do great things for your heart. Stupendous characters who love each other in a cottage complete with cat and crazy neighbor. The plots are terrific, the writing marvelous, and all things combined…makes these the cosies of your heart. Don’t miss out. I highly recommend them one and all.”

“If you are looking for a super cozy murder mystery that doesn’t skimp on the murder or high drama (car crashes, homophobic relatives, police stings, explosions, kidnappings, death-by-cinnamon) then I’m sure you’ll love this book.”

Book Review: Dead in the Garden
“There’s just something so thoroughly appealing about Dahlia Donovan’s writing that I can never seem to resist signing up to read one of her books and reviewing them EVEN when my schedule is already swamped…
Take her newest release, for example; Dead in the Garden is the first in a collection of three books called Grasmere Cottage Mystery. We’re introduced to committed couple Valor Scott and Bishan Tamboli and how they unwittingly became part of a murder mystery involving a dead body they find in the garden of their cottage. They don’t recognize who the victim is, but based on the reaction of the lead inspector, they should. When Bish becomes the prime suspect and is summarily arrested, Val, along with Bish’s family, their closest friends, and a sympathetic detective inspector, will need to decipher cryptic clues and eliminate their suspects before the killer strikes again.”
Book Review: Dead in the Garden
“The story is very well written and thought out. I love all the characters. There are very many in this book, but with out everyone of them the story would be lacking. I think the biggest thing for me was How Bishan was portrayed. I have a son with autism and I just loved that there was a character like him. Bishan is brave and strong, he has things he doesn’t understand but is still this amazing person who really tries. How him and Valor are together just makes me so happy. I definitely laughed and cried along the way with the story.”
