Let’s welcome Justine! Be sure to check out the giveaway at the end of the post.
I absolutely love this time of year and was lucky enough to marry a man who indulges my crazy holiday spirt. We have 4 kids, 2 with special needs making our traditions even more important. Every year we kick things off with picking out a few new holiday decorations then hitting the tree farm to pick out and cut down our own tree. With a herd this size I am usually half done with my shopping before thanksgiving. I love giving; I spend all year looking for the perfect gift for my loved ones. It means the world to me to make them smile.
Yep, I am one of those creepos who needs nothing for Christmas but to watch others open the gifts I got then.
The other two traditions I have are listening to Pentatonix Holiday Music and baking. This year I am doing a new recipe, Harry Potter Butterbeer Fudge! I am excited because I have recently passed my love of the series to my daughter Lily Belle. The Information is below, hope they help you get in the holiday mood like they have me.

Butterbeer Fudge Recipe-

Butterscotch layer
- 1 jar Smuckers Butterscotch Spoonable Topping
- 2/3 Jar marshmallow cream (4.6 oz)
- 16 oz white chocolate chips (2 full cups)
Creamy layer
- 1/2 jar Smuckers Marshmallow Spoonable Topping
- 1/3 Jar marshmallow cream (2.3 oz)
- 8 oz white chocolate chips (1 full cup)
Instructions
first layer
- Pour the butterscotch topping in to a sauce pan and bring to a boil
- add the marshmallow cream, stir until it’s melted and heat for 5 mins+ stirring constantly
- it will thicken and “smoke” just a bit
- take off the heat and stir in the white chocolate chips, once melted pour into a 9×13 glass pan sprayed with non stick spray
second layer
- Pour the marshmalow topping in to a sauce pan and bring to a boil
- add the marshmallow cream, stir until it’s melted and heat for 5 mins+ stirring constantly
- it will thicken and “smoke” just a bit
- take off the heat and stir in the white chocolate chips, once melted pour over the first layer. This layer was a little softer, creamier for me.
- Let set and cut with a sharp knife (it will cut better if it you spray the knife with non stick spray

Blurb-
Here’s the problem with myths and legends; they’re fiction. At one time, they may have been stories of real people, but over time, the story was passed from person to person, so what was once fact, becomes the written fables of those long ago.
This is the true story of Death and the five horsemen.
Quitting her teaching career and working full time on her fledgling editing business, Julie Michaels isn’t prepared for the shedload of changes heading her way. To be precise, it’s just one screeching stop on the crazy train away.
Dean “Death” Apocalos never imagined change would come so swiftly in the form of love, chaos, and Decay. Dean and his three brothers are about to see their worst fear come to light; their forgotten brother and the fifth horseman, Decay.
Previously entombed, someone has let the loon loose on LA. It’s now up to the horsemen to put him back in his box… before he upsets the balance once more.
