Book Review: Poisoned Primrose

Poisoned Primrose Cover600

I really enjoy reading Dahlia Donovan’s cozy mysteries because they remind me of a mash-up of Father Brown, Agatha Christie and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. Since I’ve fallen down the MM rabbit hole, I haven’t read MF romance. I was pleased to discover that Motts was written as an asexual, autistic character and this book reads more as a whodunnit than a romance novel. Loved it!

Book Review: Poisoned Primrose

“I can tell you that I am absolutely fascinated with how the author chose to build the character of Motts and, to a lesser extent, Teo. Poisoned Primrose is that perfect little novel one could enjoy on a rainy afternoon with a hot cup of tea. It’s a delightful morsel that left me eager to see more of the marvelous cast of characters who inhabit the quaint little town. I look forward to Motts’ next adventure.”
